About the Club: Overview
Pace Bootlegger is a member of The Rochester Volleyball Club, which is a parent organization of men's and women's, boy's and girls volleyball programs in the Greater Western New York Area. The Rochester Volleyball Club encompasses Pace Bootlegger and its sister organization VolleyFX, and has been in existence since the late 1970's. These programs are non-profit and are used strictly for the development of high-level volleyball athletes aspiring to be the best in their sport. Each program is somewhat different yet is committed to the same focus - hard work, dedication and commitment to self, sport and team. Teams from all four programs have been competing for regional and national championships since the early 1980's. Pace Bootlegger/VolleyFX is highly regarded among volleyball players and coaches in the East and Midwest. Teams have consistently finished in the Top Ten nationally. In 1999, teams finished 2nd, 7th, 9th and 13th nationally. Many players received scholarship money to play volleyball in college. The RVBC has been "Committed To Excellence" and we stand by that philosophy – it is seen in everything we do, from coaching to training, from club organization to assistance with college recruiting, we pride ourselves in our coach's and player's dedication. Pace Bootlegger has continued to expand and quickly develop as a premiere boys Junior Olympic program. Players with Pace Bootlegger develop a desire to take the game to the next level and pursue the mental, as well as physical aspects of the game. |
